Catamarans

I live in Bundaberg and would like to hire a Catamaran for a sail. Where is the nearest place?

I know there is a place Hervey Bay – but I thought it might be somewhere near as could hire a catamaran for a couple of hours on my own. If anyone has any information it would be great!

There is a Yacht club in port. However, the problem is that it is difficult to become a member. I remember going with my dad when I was younger, to put our name on the list and just never called back or return calls. Now my parents actually live in their catamaran and are not members of that lol swanky yacht club. But I think it would be an option for you. The best way might contact the local marina, Marina Midtown is in the CBD, the marina in the harbor, and there is a small marina at Burnett Heads. I do not live there anymore, I left and went to Brisbane for college. but I used to and have been involved in it for years. There are plenty of private clubs may also be able to contract out, and there is a very small group that teaches Sailing every Sunday at the Burnett Heads for a small donation. Thinking of a Hobie cat or something bigger? It may be difficult to find someone willing to rent a larger boat.
